In the early 18th century, an 86-year old healer stood trial for witchcraft and devilry in Visby, Gotland (Sweden). What she tells the court is a strange story of peculiar creatures, strange rituals and firm beliefs. 

What happens when a Christian worldview collides with that of folklore, inherited for thousands of years by locals? When a court of law expects answers matching a picture the accused knows nothing about? This is a story of pain, innocence and guilt, and what happens when one decides to tell the truth - or not.
